Safety Light Curtains Modular, compact, fast and self diagnostic Safety light curtains covering all areas of application.
The range of safety light curtains we offer cover both Cat2 & Cat4 circumstances. The safety light curtains are robust and can therefore be operated even under difficult conditions. The focus of the development was placed on a manageable system with a high reliability and a high flexibility factor. User friendliness is demonstrated with the already integrated self-monitoring of the system and the unnecessary connection of the usually needed start-up test. On top of this, a laser alignment system can be integrated on request. This enables an easy alignment of the edges on installation and a trouble free and productive operation of the system.
The modular construction ensure we can provide each client with a specific and competitive solution. A maximum range of 18 m is achieved with the 30 mm resolution version and 9 m with the 14 mm resolution version. This dynamic range is achieved with opto edges measuring only 30 mm x 40 mm in diameter. The protection height can be configured in 120 mm increments. All systems are extremely tolerant to foreign light and are therefore suitable for special applications like robotics welding systems. The cascading of the edges allows for more than one protection field to be monitored by one controller and thereby making the system even more cost effective.
