Allen Bradley DF1 Protocol over radio

The use of radio modems removes the need for RS232/RS485 data cables and can cover ranges up to 20 kilometres. The radio modems have configurable frequency of operation As well as configurable addressing for security making them very flexible and reliable.

The radio modems incorporate synthesized UHF transcievers approved to MPT1329, ETS 300-220 (RM9600) and ETS 300-113 (RM9634) for operation in the UK without a licence. Numerous other approvals are held for world-wide operation. Configuration is via on-board switches on the radio modem, which allows a band of up to 64 radio channels to be selected. The serial interface baud rates, parity and character lengths are also user selectable.
