Fork type photoelectric sensors Fork type photoelectric sensors that are rugged, compact and easily installed.
Powelectrics Fork-type photoelectric sensors are very easy to use. Thanks to their simple installation, they are particularly suited to use on handling systems and assembly equipment, as well as label readers, or for checking for tearing of web materials. Fork gaps covering the range 2 mm - 225 mm, gating frequencies covering the range 1 kHz - 10 kHz, and "teach-in" versions are available for special applications. PNP/NPN-outputs, light/dark-switching circuitry, and a 25-turn, wire-wound, potentiometer for accurately setting their gating point, are all incorporated in their rugged aluminium housings. Connection is via a jack with an M8-thread. All units are characterized by high stray-light rejection and insensitivity to shocks and vibrations. Special versions equipped with teach-in facilities, wider fork gaps, and capacitive sensing that are capable of reliably detecting metallized labels on transparent films are available for use on labelling systems. Units with 2 mm and 3 mm fork gaps and up to 10-kHz gating frequencies complete the range.
