and gases. The measurement is independent of changes in process conditions and due to this versatility the meter is easy to install and also recognized for its high accuracy in a wide turn down range.
Mass flowmeters provide the most accurate flow measurement today with highest accuracy and repeatability of only 0.1% of the flow and a rangeability from 100:1. Flowmeters based on this technology can measure density, volume flow, percent fraction and temperature. The advantages include a high degree of safety and reliability, a low pressure drop, no regular maintenance needed making the flowmeters user-friendly, a single tube design with only two welding points, CIP compatible, self-draining and made of corrosion resistant materials such as stainless steel or hastelloy.
