Electromagnetic Flowmeters
Electromagnetic flowmeters are used to measure the volume
flow of electrically conductive media. Measurements are not influenced by temperature, pressure, density and viscosity.
Powelectrics offer a range of electromagnetic flowmeters, from low cost in-line devices through to battery powered flowmeters well suited to the water industry and high powered flowmeters for difficult applications.
In-line magnetic flowmeter, SDI 852 series
The SDI 852 series of in line flow sensors provide precise flow measurement in the range of 0 to 80 litres per minute. The flow rate is display on the 3 digit display on the front of the device.
Modular pulsed DC flowmeters
SITRANS F M modular pulsed DC electromagnetic
flowmeters are suitable for measuring the flow in all applications within a large variety of industries. They feature a unique SENSORPROM memory unit which stores sensor calibration data and transmitter settings for the lifetime of the product. At commissioning the flowmeter commences measurement without any initial programming.
The advantages of the electromagnetic flowmeters enables compact or remote installation using the same transmitter and sensor, the use of a USM II communication platform for easy integration with all systems and the possibility to combine the various sensors and transmitters ensuring ideal adaptation to each measurement task
Battery Operated Mag flowmeter
The battery-operated SITRANS F M MAG 8000 is a solution
that gives you the flexibility to install a reliable water meter virtually anywhere without sacrificing accuracy or performance. No mains power is required. The battery water meter complies with the MID and OIML R49 water meter standards and is specially engineered for stand-alone water applications such as abstraction, network distribution, revenue metering and irrigation.
High powered magnetic flowmeters
This high-powered flowmeter which consists of the SITRANS
F M TRANSMAG 2 transmitter and the SITRANS F M 911/E sensor is the best choice for pulsating media with low conductivity and/or with a high proportion of solids. Because of the strong magnetic field, high excitation frequency, stable zero point and the the pulsed alternating field, this flowmeter provides an accurate, repeatable, fast responding and stable flow signal that is of the utmost importance when measuring in heavy-duty applications.
