Thermal flow sensors for liquids

The thermal flow sensors for use on liquids are available in either compact form, with the sensor and the electronics combined in one unit, or you chose a separate amplifier and controller.

The flow sensors operate on the thermodynamic or calorimetric principle, without moving parts, which means they are robust and resistant to soiling.

The sensors can be used with water, glycol mixtures or chemicals.

Intrinsically safe sensors based on ATEX for explosive and hazardous areas are also available. Additional variations consist of high temperature sensors up to 160°C, special sensors made from such materials as Hastelloy, Monel, titanium and tantalum with high resistance to chemicals, and programmable flow sensors with digital displays.

The flow controllers are either screwed into the side of the pipe or added to the line itself in the form of inline sensors.

Compact flow sensors for liquids

Compact flow sensors have integral electronics - there is no need for a separate amplifier unit. The flow sensors are available with a range of fittings and material types and there are units with switched or analogue outputs, 110 Vac, 230 Vac or 24 Vdc power supplies, as well as flow sensors with time delays and even temperature control.

In line flow sensors are available for pharmaceutical applications, for micro pulse detection and with cermaic wetted parts.

Flow sensors for use with amplifiers

The flow sensors come in variety of shapes and sizes, as well as materials and fittings.  There are flow sensors for hygienic application, flow sensor with excellent tolerance to abrasion and chemical resistance, as well as flow sensors for high pressure applictions.

Flow amplifiers for use with flow sensors

A range of amplifiers to work with the flow sensors. They come in different housings and there are a range of features available. There are flow amplifiers with switched or analogue outputs, with time delays, and units for 110Vac, 230 Vac and 24 Vdc supply.
