With the P42 series of Ultrasonic distance sensors objects can be detected accurately within the range of 100mm to 8000mm making the sensor ideal for a wide range of applications including level monitoring.
Each sensor has 2 analogue outputs (4-20mA and 0-10 volts), Four switching outputs and serial communications.
These sensors comprise a sensing head and a separate electronic evaluation unit. The sensor head is in an M30 stainless steel housing, except the 8 metre range unit, with the evaluation electronics housed within a DIN rail mount enclosure. The switching outputs give 2 adjustable setpoints, 1 loss of echo and 1 for when the target is closer to the sensor than the selected analogue range.
Additional features of the P42 ultrasonic distance sensor range are synchronisation/hold which allows the measurement only be take in a certain instant & adjustable sensitivity / beam angle adjustment.
