Happy Holidays from The Powelectrics Team!
2020 has certainly brought some unique challenges! Here at Powelectrics we are delighted that our colleagues have stayed healthy throughout the pandemic this year! We have been fortunate to keep everyone in full time employment, even creating additional technical and administrative roles.
Coronavirus has brought the benefits of remote monitoring to the attention of new sectors and we are extremely proud that our IIoT technology has been used in a number of life-saving Covid-19 applications, from enabling the efficient distribution of oxygen to hospitals to manufacturing hand sanitiser.
Now, in addition to economic benefits of remote sensor data and automatic alerts, well-proven for condition monitoring, bulk distribution, flood monitoring and in many other environments, there is also a range of safety and wellbeing benefits associated with reduced physical travel, face to face operations and handling of kit.
Dave Oakes, Powelectrics MD, "Thank you to the wonderful Powelectrics team for their enthusiasm and hard work during this most unusual year.
"Its disappointing that we can’t get together for a huge party just now … but we will as soon as we can!
"Thank you also to our amazing customers, partners and suppliers. You have kept us going and we couldn’t exist without you!"
"Here’s to 2021! R&D has been ongoing throughout Coronavirus. As well as the new MetronView which will launch in the New Year, we’re developing industry-specific IIoT solutions with a number of specialist partners.
"Our collaborations also continue with Keele University as part of their cutting-edge Smart Energy Network Demonstrator and Birmingham University, focused on self-powered sensor networks”
