Oh Yes She Can! Powelectrics New Sales Engineer Jen Is Ready for Action!!

Posted on 28 Aug 2019

We are delighted to welcome Jen Mortiboy to the Powelectrics team! Jen joins us as an Internal Sales Engineer, having recently graduated from Leeds University and Pareto Law’s prestigious graduate selection process.

Jen’s broad-ranging role will encompass handing incoming sales enquiries for our full range of sensors and IoT solutions, assisting with product selection and creating proposals. She will also assist with tech support and use these regular customer interactions to create practical, user-friendly product guides and animations and inform R&D strategy.

She is getting familiar with Powelectrics broad range of ‘connected sensor’ solutions, though accompanied site visits and shadowing tech support. This technical understanding of sensors, instrumentation and communication technologies is complemented by Pareto’s professional sales training. Jen graduated the first course this month, winning the prize for best presentation!

Perhaps that’s not so surprising, as she is a big fan of musical theatre and has been treading the boards since the age of four, most recently performing in panto at Leeds Uni!

However, there will be no pantomines for Jen this year! She will be enjoying an adventurous trip to Japan, the Philippines and Hong Kong over Christmas. Hopefully, Hong Kong won’t prove too adventurous!

Infact, Jen loves to travel! She spent an academic year in Adelaide, Australia, and backpacked around Thailand and the South East Asian islands, enjoying the beautiful beaches, sumptuous seafood … and maybe the odd beverage at a Full Moon party!

These days she is also learning to play golf, followed by ‘relaxion and invigoration’ at the local spa!

You can meet Jen at one of our forthcoming exhibitions.

She will be presenting our IIoT technology at Sensors and Instrumentation Live, September 25-26 at the NEC. This is the UK’s only national instrumentation exhibition, offering 50 specialist exhibitors, an engineering symposium and presentations from a range of industry experts. Please visit us at Stand 58, Hall 2. Register free: https://si19.smartreg.co.uk/Visitors/Visitors/register?promoid=buttonweb

Jen will also be demonstrating our Industry 4.0 condition monitoring solutions at the Rail Vehicles and Enhancements 2019 (RVE), October 3 at Derby Arena. This show is focused on the engineering and maintenance of rail vehicles, showcasing innovations from 118 international exhibitors, plus a conference and a range of expert speakers. Jen told us “Its wonderful to be joining a company whose solutions are used all over the world in multitudes of industries, especially at such an exciting time with the upcoming launch of the Metron4!!”

We’re loving your energy and enthusiasm Jen and wish you the very best of luck in your new role!
