Powelectrics invite you to book your place on our IO-Link event In Lichfield on 20 March!

When Powelectrics sales team attended the SPS IPC Drives Exhibition in Nuremburg last November, we certainly knew we were at Europe’s number one expo for smart and digital automation and control! Offering 14 enormous, themed halls, over 1600 exhibitors and more than 65 000 visitors, we were delighted to catch up on the latest innovations from many of the 100 plus sensor brands we supply, especially Di-Soric and EGE Elektronik for whom Powelectrics are exclusive UK distributors. https://sps.mesago.com/events/en.html

One theme which recurred throughout our visit was the rapid development of solutions incorporating IO-Link.

“IO-Link is a short distance, bi-directional, digital, point-to-point, wired, industrial communications networking standard used for connecting digital sensors and actuators to either a type of industrial fieldbus or a type of industrial Ethernet. Its objective is to provide a technological platform that enables the development and use of sensors and actuators that can produce and consume enriched sets of data that in turn can be used for economically optimizing industrial automated processes and operations.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IO-Link

More simply, IO-Link is being incorporated into a rapidly growing range of sensors which offer multiple benefits, including:

Powelectrics together with our sensor partners Di-Soric are delighted to offer you the opportunity to learn more about this technology at a seminar day to be held in the beautiful Midlands cathedral city of Lichfield on Wednesday 20 March.

The day will include sessions on:
