Powelectrics are Delighted to Welcome Louisa, Our New Sales Administrator
Powelectrics are delighted to welcome Louisa Tongue, our new Sales Administrator. Louisa has a broad sales office and accounts role, which covers sales & purchase order processing, sales & purchase ledger, credit control, shipping, process optimisation and ad hoc accounts projects.
Louisa completed an accounts office placement, whilst at school and has since gained a wealth of experience in accounting and office processes. She was attracted to the Powelectrics role as it gave her an opportunity to use and develop her finance experience.
“It’s been a strange start! I joined in February and got furloughed in March! Many thanks to Powelectrics for supporting me! We all kept in touch via web training and socials and I’m delighted to be back in the office now.”
Ian Bourke, Finance & Operations Manager, “We needed someone to ‘hit the ground running’. Louisa is experienced in all aspects of the role and knew our accounting software. She can look over our operations with new eyes to help identify weaknesses and implement improvements. Her ‘can do’ attitude is already making her a very valuable team member.”
Outside work, Louisa is a lifelong football fan and a West Bromwich season ticket holder. She even trained as a ref when she was younger! Her partner, Lee, is an equally committed Aston Villa supporter, but she has learned to live with that!
Louisa recently turned 40. “In some ways life really has begun for me at 40. I have started my new role at Powelectrics and will be moving into my own home for the first time in the next couple of weeks!”
Lee had better behave though! During Louisa’s furlough, as well as walking Bailey, her German Shepherd/Collie cross and catching up on classic horror movies, she watched the entire series of ‘How To Get Away With Murder’!
Louisa also enjoys theatre trips to London and is keen to start going to gigs again post-lockdown. She has broad musical taste, seeing everyone from Take That to Tom Walker and hopefully Stormzy this September. She even saw Coldplay play to just 500 people at Wolverhampton Civic Hall ... before they became global megastars!
So Louisa, welcome on board from the whole Powelectrics Team! Best of luck with your new role and moving into your new home. We look forward to getting to know you better!
