Powelectrics Celebrate a Great Q3 With A Night Out In Birmingham!

Posted on 03 Oct 2018

Powelectrics are delighted to announce a third great quarter for 2018 and as a huge thank you to our excellent team, the company have been out to celebrate!

This weekend we partied in Birmingham, starting with a fantastic meal at Jamie’s Italian, scenically located in the Bullring, opposite the Selfridges Building and St Martin’s Church.

Next stop was Ghetto Golf in the Custard Factory. What an experience! An 18 hole indoor mini-golf with cocktails, a DJ, fluorescent street art and themed holes, including a version of Birmingham’s oldest pub, a Space Invaders game, a psychedelic bathroom, 1960’s living room and a Blockbusters video shop.

Andy from our Tech Support department even fulfilled a childhood ambition of being a bus driver on the hole set inside a real bus!!

Special congratulations to Kelvin, our current reigning Ghetto Golf Champion!

Dave Oakes, Powelectrics MD really wanted to thank the whole team for their part in making Powelectrics such an exciting place to be.

“Every day we see the benefits our services bring to a range of industries. This could be preventing hospitals running out of oxygen to lowering the incidence of trains breaking down …  from checking that cardboard boxes are stuck together properly, to ensuring your fuel, chemicals and post are delivered and your waste is collected on time. There seem to be unlimited possibilities to use the Internet of Things to improve daily life for businesses and individuals and a growing number of environmental benefits within our applications. Powelectrics is achieving its goal of being right at the heart of a ‘connected sensor’ community, getting essential data into the cloud to improve processes and business strategy.”

“The Powelectrics team has been an essential part of our growth and development this year. Whether its handling a record number of enquiries, promoting our messages in the field or via social media or offering exceptional service and support to our valued customers …. everyone has internalised our ideology, shown huge positivity, gone the extra mile and offered great ideas to ensure that we keep evolving and improving.”

“Thank you also to our wonderful customers and suppliers who have supported us so well this year.”

We are all back in the office now and here to help! Please get in touch to discuss any applications you have in mind. +44 1827 310 666
