Proximity sensors

Proximity sensorsDave was at a customers with Chris Aulton (see recent news item) and was taken aback when Chris reached into his case and brought out a mallet - the days of beating the customers into submission are long gone. The mallet was soon followed by a piece of wood and a nail. In the mallet Chris had put a Contrinex metal faced (stainless steel) inductive proximity sensor which is so strong he invited the client to hammer home a nail into the wood. The sensor face got a little bit damaged but carried on working and the strength of the sensor was clear.
