Team Teppanyaki - Powelectrics Celebrate Christmas!
Powelectrics celebrated another extraordinary year in a rather extraordinary way …with a delicious Japanese meal at Shogun in Birmingham’s iconic ‘The Cube’. Teppanyaki means "cooking on a hot plate" and the team were treated to a gastronomic and theatrical experience!
We all ooohed and aaahed as our meals were elegantly spliced on the griddle. Who knew that flinging a fish could be so fabulous … in stark contrast to the general use of chopsticks around our table!
There were Christmas crackers … and some of our number were even persuaded to participate in the entertainment- performing egg-flipping feats with panache!
The odd cocktail later and fully replete, we journeyed on to sample the other delights of central Birmingham at Christmas time…. but we won’t go into details!
Dave Oakes, Powelectrics MD, “What a night! The whole team deserved a celebration after another great year!
We’ve been involved in a record number of exhibitions, launched our fantastic Metron4 telemetry hardware and built a number of strategic alliances with industry partners. We’ve built up our presence in key markets, improved and automated procedures in preparation for continuing growth and we are handling more quality enquiries than ever!
We have new team members in every department and I’m particularly proud of the experienced staff who have trained them up so they’re already contributing to our success! Its been great to get to know them and their partners in informal surroundings!
Here’s to 2020! Its destined to be another action-packed year. We’ll be launching a new, improved version of our MetronView cloud in Q1, with further product launches and new appointments planned through the year.
I’m delighted to have such a talented and positive group of people to help take us forward!”
