Collaborating with Powelectrics to Develop Your Solution
Powelectrics have a proud history of working with customers to develop application and industry specific IIoT solutions. Connecting assets to the cloud is now essential to remain competitive! Powelectrics offer 30 years' experience in sensing, instrumentation and connectivity. Our know-how helps customers around the world to monitor, control and maintain their assets and critical processes.
Our proprietary Metron4 telemetry hardware and MetronView software are already extremely flexible. Both can bear customers’ corporate graphics and be presented as their own product.
Metron4 telemetry devices support 2G and 4G (CatM1 & NB1) and offer enormous flexibility to add functionality for specific, customer-driven applications. In addition to 4 analogue inputs (4-20mA), there are expansion cards for pulse counting (5 channels) and RS232 and options to develop RS485 and CANBUS interfaces.
MetronView is a standalone cloud. As well as badging it with your logo, we can configure it to offer customised dashboards, reports and alarms to your customers.
MetronView can accept multiple users and levels of authorisation, so individual users can see just their own data, or a whole site, or every site from which sensors are reporting.
There is also an API on the platform, which allows data to be collected by other platforms … or we can create an application-specific portal for you.
Examples of portals we have already created include tank management, energy metering, vending machines, train condition monitoring (image on right) and waste compactors.
The API also allows integration to software like Navision, SAP, SCADA and platforms like IBM Watson, Microsoft Azure, AWS and Miimetiq.
Many Metron software and hardware adaptations are extremely quick and affordable. We can fit a range of additional kit in our factory, prior to dispatch …. or on site, during installation. These include simple add-ons such as external antennas to boost signal strength or rugged, weatherproof mains connectors.
We can also build panels and enclosures to incorporate a range of ancilliary devices such as signal isolators, signal conditioners and ATEX barriers. You can learn more about customising Metron m2m solutions here.
Powelectrics have worked closely with several customers to achieve more complex industry-specific solutions. We are currently working on a number of collaborative projects and look forward to presenting these solutions, when they are released commercially.
In addition to our technical and commercial support, our customers also benefit from Powelectrics promotional activity...on our news pages, via social media output and through trade exhibitions and press.
